Kids Eat Free on Sundays at Scapa Italian Kitchen

In the Western Suburbs of Chicago, in a little town known as Clarendon Hills, we still support family time at the dinner table. We are a favorite restaurant to the locals and we are opening our doors to celebrate family values and give back to the community that supports us.

Each Sunday this winter, children dine at Scapa Italian with our compliments! This special complimentary children’s menu is offered on Sundays from 4 to 8 pm. The menu is provided for all children with adult paid entrée.

Blackened Chilean Sea Bass: Scapa Italian Kitchen

At Scapa Italian Kitchen we make a variety of dishes to meet all of our guest needs. One of our most popular dishes is the Blackened Chilean Sea Bass. Below is a Shared Recipe for a Sea Bass Dish.

Basic Grilled Chilean Sea Bass Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 skinless sea bass (4 to 6 oz ea)
  • lemon, halves
  • fresh dill sprig (to garnish)

Directions:

 Prep Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 18 mins

  1. Preheat barbecue grill.
  2. Combine all seasonings in small bowl and mix well.
  3. Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat and pour into pie plate.
  4. Dip sea bass into melted butter, evenly coating both sides.
  5. Sprinkle both sides of sea bass with seasoning mixture.
  6. Place on grill and cook covered for approximately 6 to 8 minutes or until it is blackened and flakes easily.
  7. Turn halfway through grilling time.
  8. Serve with lemon and garnish with dill sprigs
